AREA SALES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Achieve and demonstrate Sales Targets and Support Client Needs until Possession

  • Meet monthly and annual sales goals by taking the required steps to reach them.
  • Accurately prepare and maintain purchase agreements and all supporting documents from the sales agreement date through to customer closing.
  • Ensure that all documents and marketing materials in the show home are up-to-date while being knowledgeable about the policies, procedures, and guidelines that govern these documents.
  • Maintain consistent communication with buyers up until the possession date; stay informed about policies, procedures, approval requirements, and construction processes to effectively relay information to customers.
  • Ensure the show home is open and staffed every day during scheduled hours; take responsibility for its cleanliness, organization, and the upkeep of signage for show homes and sales centers.
  • Track traffic accurately, including its sources and competition, on a weekly basis.
  • Follow the company’s sales methods and stay informed through continuous training and mandatory sales and marketing meetings.
  • Oversee and provide training for new sales assistants.
  • Ensure the timely and precise entry of all sales and commission data.
  • Confirm that all signage in the subdivision is visually appealing, accurate, and strategically placed to maximize traffic.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of inventory homes for safety, overall appearance, and any issues (e.g., paint touch-ups, flooring scratches).
  • Develop a thorough understanding of your community and surrounding areas, including amenities, competition, and developer updates.
  • Promote your community through recommended social media platforms, adhering to marketing and branding standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Strong skills in time management, organization, and planning.
  • Driven and focused, with a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to connect with diverse personality types and actively contribute to the team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and reliable.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills
  • Understanding of buyer behavior and effective sales strategies.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
